Adele Botha is a research scientist in the Next Generation Networks and Mobile research group at the CSIR Meraka Institute, where she the leads the mobile user experience research on mobile use for the developing world. She submitted her Ph.D. in Information Technology at NMMU and has since then been active in research in user appropriation and acceptance of mobile technology. She has extensive experience of the implementation of technology in education and has presented and published her research on various national and international platforms.
