Dr. Vishal Shrotriya is the Managing Director at Solarmer Energy based in El Monte, CA. Dr. Shrotriya is leading the company’s efforts in business development and building strategic partnerships for Solarmer. Dr. Shrotriya received his PhD in Materials Science from University of California, Los Angeles in 2007, and BS from IIT Bombay, India in 2002. Dr. Shrotriya also has a certificate in Management of Technology from California Institute of Technology. He has been active in the field of organic and printed electronics for the last 10 years. His research focus has been on organic materials and devices for electronic and optoelectronic applications including LEDs, solar cells, and transistors. He has co-authored more than 30 journal papers and patents related to polymer solar cells and has presented at several international conferences.
